Nuclear bombs have been a recurring theme when it comes to the theory of deterrence, which is none other than the threat of attack or doing some hard-to-repair damage that one nation uses to persuade others to take action in their own interests. This theory of deterrence has been applied by more than one country, even today. The United States, Russia, China, North Korea, and countries in the Middle East have all threatened to use nuclear bombs.

But the implementation of excessive force through the use of nuclear weapons is not new and has been used before.

The nuclear race and nuclear bombs.
The Second World War was the highest point of nuclear bombs in history to this day, which have once again been a topic on the United Nations’ table. The two bombs that struck Hiroshima and Nagasaki marked an ante and a post in the wars.

The world was able to see firsthand how far the U.S. had to go in war and how much destruction a nuclear bomb could generate.

However, at the end of the Second World War and the beginning of the Cold War, nuclear weapons became a recurring fear among the world’s population because, while the United States had used them, the Soviet Union also boasted of its own.

The cold war and the lost nuclear bombs.
One of the greatest mysteries surrounding the Cold War is that of the atomic bombs lost by the United States. According to Eric Grove, a naval historian, the American power lost a total of 8 nuclear bombs which disappeared without a trace.

There are many theories about the disappearance of these, many related to their location, who has them, which organization managed to deactivate them? Although the U.S. government has said on numerous occasions that there is no danger that such bombs were only failed tests that pose no danger to humanity, it seems impossible to believe that they would be capable of creating a nuclear bomb so flawed that it would not even be capable of exploding.

But the most latent concern is that perhaps some organization or government has them in its possession, waiting for the time to use them.
