What did you do in ancient Egypt with this mummy?
Ancient Egypt is characterized by being one of the most emblematic and mysterious territories in the world, after all, it is there where the largest pyramids on the planet are found and where hundreds of mummies have been found. There are some mysteries that have not been solved, some have to do with the construction of some of the greatest wonders of the world and the disappearance of the bodies of the royal family, among them, Tutankhamun and Nefertititi, however, there is something new that has shocked the experts.
Some time ago a completely strange and amazing mummy was found, it is a girl who was mummified along with a crocodile, but it was the way in which they performed the ceremony that made an impact, as the animal is fused with the body of the little girl. Experts believe it is a member of the royal family whose death was the result of a reptile attack. It is said that Pharaoh and the priest joined the two bodies together so that when the princess rose from the dead, she would do so in the form of a crocodile.
According to the story, the girl was swimming in the Nile River when a crocodile attacked and killed her, devouring part of her body. The Pharaoh ordered the crocodile to be killed, part of the reptilian body to be cut off and joined to that of the girl during the mummification ceremony.
Ancient Egypt still has unsolved mysteries
Scientists still don’t know how the ancient Egyptians managed to unite the two bodies. The mummy has been in Turkey since the 19th century and they never allowed it to be photographed or shown to the world precisely because of the characteristics it possesses, some say that the mummy is cursed and many fear it, for it is the first remnant of the Pharaoh’s family to be fused in this way. The research on the mummy’s date yielded surprising results, as it seems that the girl was a family of Tutankhamen.
