The Roswell case is undoubtedly the starting point of everything we know today regarding aliens and UFOs, since then, the legends and stories linked to this case have gained a lot of credibility. For many years, this case has taken up the time of many researchers and ufologists, who in many cases have managed to interview and obtain statements from people very close to this controversial event.
The last character to offer statements about the controversial Roswell case is a deputy sheriff who worked in the area of the alleged accident. Mr. Charlie Fogus is the one who has ensured that a group of military personnel moved a strange being injured.
The sheriff’s deputy, Jess Slaughter, said the incident arrived at the site with the purpose of taking a detainee away, to their surprise, they met a strange being of a clear non-human appearance, who had gigantic eyes, near a ship with a starry saucer shape in the place. They claim that being extraterrestrial was moved by the military in an army vehicle to a military compound.
And besides, according to Mr. Fogus’ statements, he said he also managed to see the presence of four other alien beings, most of whom were covered by a kind of “canvas,” but managed to see the feet and legs of several of them. At first glance, he could see that they were similar to those of a human being, but with a considerable difference in size and a very different skin color. “He said they looked like beings, who had been exposed to the sun for a long time”.
The file on Roswell and Charles H. Forgus.
In a previous unpublished interview, former Sheriff Charlie Forgus said he witnessed the Roswell UFO accident in 1947.
In July 1947, Sheriff Jess Slaughter and his deputy, Charles Fogus, travelled together to look for a prisoner when they heard a report on police radio that a plane had crashed.
In July 1947, Sheriff Jess Slaughter and his deputy, Charles Fogus, travelled together to look for a prisoner when they heard a police radio report that a plane had crashed.
The two men, on their way to Roswell, New Mexico, decided to go and investigate. In the act, they fell at the scene of one of the most famous UFO incidents in history.
While the U. S. military has long asserted that the crushed object was only a meteorological balloon, conspiracy theorists are convinced that an extraterrestrial artifact has crashed at this site and the bodies have been recovered.
In a new book, titled “OVNIS TODAY – 70 Years of Lies, Disinformation and Government Concealment,”Fogus reveals that he saw a flying saucer and military personnel recovering several alien bodies.
This is the first time his statement has been published.
In the interview, he recounts that a flying saucer crashed on the edge of a riverbed “100 feet away.
Describing the scene, he tells the story:
“When we arrived, the land was covered with soldiers. They were carrying a big, fat creature.”.
“Bodies had to measure 1,80 m.”
“I saw legs and feet in some of them. They looked like our feet”.
“Their skin was brown… because they had been exposed to the sun for too long.”
“There were soldiers there… about three or four cents.”
“We saw them dragging (the bodies) them there, out of the barrel to trucks… They put them on cranes so they could be transported.”
He said that after about 20 minutes, they were told to leave the scene. So they went back to look for their prisoner.
Asked about what he thought of what he saw, he said:
“God has not only created this planet…” He made them all. He put beings on these planets as he put us on this one. They’re smarter than us.”.
“You can come and see us, but we can’t do it.”
Philip Mantle provided the Daily Mirror with a transcript of an interview between Howard Fogus County, Texas, Sheriff of Howard Fogus County and Los Angeles private investigator Deanna Short. Mantle is a book editor and former Director of Research at the British UFO Research Association. He explains:
Deanna recorded the interview and then transcribed the interview and completed her report to the Agency before verifying the facts of Charles Forgus and Sheriff Jess Slaughter – both from Howard County, Texas.
“Both were there and were able to observe the recovery of the army from this object.”
I should note that, according to Deanna’s daughter Mackenzie Charles, she made a special effort to “not believe what others will say,”as he and the sheriff witnessed Roswell’s accident. They had heard about the accident on police radio, which allowed them to find the place.
“It is rare for a new witness to bring new evidence about the Roswell accident.”
“When it comes to the Roswell incident that is a closed case, a new testimony like this one can be valuable.”
“This could confirm what other witnesses have already said or could be another potential witness who was removed during the investigation.”
“So, in one way or another, it is invaluable information. Having it on video is a real luxury. I remain open to the testimony of this gentleman, but we hope that by making it public others will be able to help us in our investigations.
“I dare say that many of those who know much more about the Roswell incident than I do will write that it does not fit into the commonly accepted scenario.
Everything I say, I work to find out more information and I laisse this’ fichier Roswell’ at disposal. If you want to know more about the Roswell incident, we invite you to get in touch with us “.
Retranscription of the interview:
CF: I was working for the Sheriff of. I was deputy sheriff Slaughter in the’ 40s. We went to Roswell to pick up a prisoner. When we got there, the land was covered with soldiers. They were transporting a great creature. Dragging.
What I saw of him looked like what we see on television, with big eyes. There was a big round thing in the canyon. It was about 30 meters wide. They put that in a truck and took it away. They didn’t let us get too close either. So we headed for the prisoner in Roswell and went back.
P: So you were on your way to Roswell to pick up a prisoner and you were there?
CF: It had already crashed. They were taking them out. There were soldiers there… about three or four hundred of them. They wouldn’t let you get too close. They kept all the people away. People were coming out.
P: How did the saucer look?
CF: It was something big and round. Across the middle was about 30 meters.
P: Did you see any light around you?
CF: No, they came out when it hit the wall of the stream. It was like a mountain by the creek.
P: Did you see any creatures? How many did you see?
CF: Yes, I saw them. I think I’ve seen about four of them.
P: Were they undercover?
CF: Mostly. I saw the legs and feet on some of them.
P: What were the feet like? Remember?
CF: They looked like our feet.
P: Can you imagine how high they were? They were lying down, weren’t they?
CF: Yes, there is one thing I do remember. The Great Father not only made this planet……. He made them all. He put beings on these planets as he put us on this one. They’re smarter than us. They can get from there to here, but we can’t get from here to there.
(Note: CF is quite deaf. He has two hearing aids in his ears, so answer my questions as follows:)
P: Why do you think they’re here then?
CF: I don’t know where they took them. They could have been taken to the hospital or somewhere.
P: How long were you and Sheriff Slaughter in that place after you arrived?
CF: Approximately 30 minutes?
P: Did you tell anyone?
P: Did they tell you not to say anything?
CF: No, they didn’t tell me anything. They wouldn’t let you near them.
P: Did they see you watching what was happening?
CF: Sure, they saw me looking at them.
P: Didn’t they tell you not to say anything?
CF: No, they wouldn’t let us get close to them. We were about 10 minutes away.
P: Were they that close?
CF: We could have gone further. I didn’t have glasses then, I could see very well.
P: What was your official capacity then?
CF: I was a deputy sheriff when we went looking for the prisoner.
I didn’t order anyone but me to go with him. The UFO was already down when we got there. We went to get the prisoner later. We heard it on the radio.
P: What did you hear on the radio?
CF: That the thing had crashed.
P: But didn’t you know what “the thing”was?
CF: No. But you’d think that when people hear something like that, they’re really scared. This came off the police radio. We were on our way there (to pick up the prisoner) when we heard him on the police radio. I was a long way from Roswell… you can look at a map and see it.
P: Let me ask you this. When you were driving down the road and listening to the police radio………
P: Do you remember what was said on the radio about what was… Remember?
CF: All I remember is they said a saucer crashed into the canyon.
P: Did they really say the word “saucer”?
CF: You can call it a saucer if you like, but there isn’t a cup of coffee big enough for that thing.
P: How long do you think you were on the site?
CF: Probably about 20 minutes. We saw them dragging them (the bodies) over there, from the cannon to the trucks…. putting them on the cranes so they could be dragged.
P: Did anyone try to get you to leave the scene?
CF: No… the Sheriff was told we had to leave. That was enough for us. He’s the boss.
P: When beings were taken away, we will call them beings, were beings lying on the ground around the saucer?
CF: Yes, they would lift them with a crane they had and pick them up and swing them back and forth to put them in the truck. Bodies must have been 1.5 meters tall.
P: Did you see the heads?
CF: Yes… they were covered. The eyes resembled those we see on television and the images of them.
P: What color was the skin?
P: From the moment it crashed to the moment you arrived, do you know how long it took? From the time you heard it on the police radio until you got here?
FQ: Approximately two hours.
P: Did you see any writing or engraving on the saucer?
CF: Wasn’t it so close?
P: If you were 12 feet away from beings, how far away were the beings from the saucer? Were they thrown too far?
CF; We couldn’t see as well because of the trees. It was on a riverbank. He crashed into a riverbank. I say lift one up with the crane.
P: Did anyone else tell you about what was going on?
CF: There were some welds, but I don’t think they were Air Force.
P: Where do you think they came from then?
CF: I don’t know. They were wearing uniforms. I didn’t pay attention because I wanted to go with the Sheriff to get out of there before anything happened.
P: When you were in the car to pick up the guy, did you talk or talk about what you had seen with the Sheriff?
CF: No. I didn’t know what they were and neither did he, nor where they came from or anything.
P: Did you see blood on the bodies?
CF: I don’t know…… I guess they were dead.
P: You are now 81 years old. When and where were you born?
CF: I was born in a city I don’t know in which city.
P: Have you ever been in the army?
P: So when this happened in Roswell, you were already out of the Army and an assistant sheriff. That happened in 1947. We are now in 1999. That was 52 years ago, Charlie. And you still remember it clearly?
CF: Yes, quite clear.
P: Has anyone talked to you or asked you to talk about what happened… like the government, because there is a lot of research going on now because of the cover-up.
CF: There was one coming, and I told him to shut up and not to come. I don’t know who they were. That’s when I was deputy sheriff.
P: When you saw the dish, you can remember what it looked like in your mind. Can you draw it?
CF: No… do you draw it?
(Note: Charlie had the interviewer draw because he broke his arm and can’t use it). He ordered her to draw a circle (not an oval). Then he ordered her to draw another circle with the circle. It was a drawing of the top of the saucer. Charlie was standing on the opposite side of the edge of the dry creek bed where the saucer had crashed.
P: Were you standing on it?
CF: Standing at the back. The saucer struck the edge of this side of the stream and I was standing on the other side of the bank, at the top of the hill. I was looking at the site.
P: So you had a “bird’s eye view”, so you were able to see the top?
CF: I had no bird’s eye, I have my own eyes (laughs)
(showing Charlie the interviewer’s drawing says “if this is the top of the saucer, how much higher were you?”?
CF: Probably about 6 meters above it.
P: So, that’s why you wear the top of the saucer. And you say, from here to here (through the top of the saucer – diameter) is about 100 feet.
CF: They were uniformly round.
P: So it was absolutely round……. Not in an oval shape and you were 6 meters above it, that’s why you saw the top. Did you see the fingers and fingers?
CF: No, they were undercover. But I saw the head.
P: But you said you saw the feet.
CF: Yes, later, as they passed I saw the feet. I could see them lifting it with the crane. They wouldn’t let you get close enough when they got them in the truck. When they were lifted on the crane, they were seen lying on that thing.
P: You said the body was covered. Were the arms in the stomach under the cover?
CF: When the wind blew, the cover was removed so that you could see the face. Same with feet.
